How much does a software audit cost?
It depends on code size and required depth. A focused audit of a critical module can take days; a full audit of a large application usually takes 3-5 weeks. We always work with a fixed quote after knowing the scope.
Do you need access to the source code?
Yes, for a code audit read-only access to the repository is essential. If you prefer, we can work inside your infrastructure so the code never leaves your systems, and we sign an NDA before accessing anything.
What if the result is bad?
Then you have saved a lot of money in good time. Our reports separate the urgent from the merely improvable, and there are almost always quick wins that improve things in weeks. You will never read a report that just says rewrite everything: there is always a pragmatic path.
Do you audit code built by third parties?
That is one of the most common requests: independently verifying the quality of software delivered by a vendor. We check whether it meets what was contracted, flag problematic dependencies and estimate the hidden maintenance costs.
